Turbomachinery Aeromechanical University Training
THRUST

The Erasmus Mundus programme in Aeromechanics (THRUST) is a cooperation between KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, Duke University in the USA, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and Université de Liège in Belgium.
It is a two‐year Master's programme including compulsory mobility for the students. The knowledge from the foremost specialists in the field is made available using advanced teaching and learning methods. Given the nature of the subject of aeromechanics, multidisciplinary skills are fostered.
THRUST

Programme Description

Turbomachinery aeromechanics denotes a field of engineering involving aerodynamically induced vibrations. Such vibrations present a serious challenge to manufacturing companies and turbomachine operators in the areas of power generation, aircraft propulsion as well as turbomachinery based mechanical drive. The THRUST programme is the first Master’s programme ever to address the field of aeromechanics on an exclusive basis.

Challenge

Turbomachinery aeromechanics is a highly interdisciplinary field. Hence we are looking for top‐performing students who are eager to challenge themselves.
